4 Which types of entities are not eligible for Registration?
Answer:
  1. Traders / Dealers / Stockiest / Sole Selling Agent
  2. Sick Units as defined in the “Sick Industrial companies (Special
  3. Provision) Act 1985” and which have been declared sick by the Central / State Government Authority.
  4. Black listed Manufacturer’s by the Competent Authority / Govt of India.
5 What is the validity period of initial Registration and Renewal of Registration?
Answer: Three years in both the cases. There may be successive renewals.
6 What is the procedure for renewal of registration?
Answer:

Renewal of Registration will be carried out on self declaration basis by the firm stating that there is no change in the manufacturing capacity and other administrative and technical parameters against which it was previously registered. Documents should be submitted with AHSP 90 days in advance but not less than 60 days before expiry along with Registration Certificate and Appendix ‘F’.

7 What is grace period permitted after expiry of registration?
Answer: If application of renewal has been made before due date and Fresh Registration Certificate of Renewal is delayed in processing, the previous Registration will remain valid for a period of 03 years from the date of expiry.
8 Is registration valid, if manufacturer is registered with other discipline in DGQA?
Answer: Yes
9 What are categories of Registration?
Answer

10 What is the Registration fee for Registration?
Answer: For Initial Registration:
  1. Large Scale Industries -      Rs 25000 + GST (as applicable)
  2. MSME -       Rs 10000 + GST (as applicable)
11 Can Manufacturer seek for new/additional product during the currency of Registration?
Answer: Yes
12 How to pay the Registration Fee?
Answer:
  • Registration fee is required to be submitted by the Manufacturer by one of the following mode:
  • Registration fee of Rs 10000/- for MSME and Rs 25000/- for Large Scale Industry through demand draft drawn on any Nationalized bank in favour of “The Controller, CQA (V), Ahmednagar – 414 003” payable at SBI (Code No. 0303), Ahmednagar.
    OR
  • By remitting the registration fee to “The Controller, CQA (Vehs) Ahmednagar Saving Account at State Bank of India, Ahmednagar Branch, A/c No 11117715359,” IFSC Code- SBIN 0000303 through RTGS or NEFT or Internet Banking.
  • Submit the Documentary Proof /evidence of deposit of registration fee in advance to this Controllerate through E-mail or Fax.
  • This Fee is non –refundable.
  • In addition to the above, the firm should deposit GST amount of Rs 1800/- (18% of Registration fee) for MSME and Rs 4500/- (18% of Registration fee) for Large Scale Industry under reverse charge by itself directly with GST Authorities and produce proof of evidence.
